Walkers will arrange a quote that includes thepickup from residence, the actual enclosure, and the transport via air, alongwith the boarding and then delivery to you at your new home.
Some of our clients will drop their pets atthe terminal. The cost is cheaper, so worth checking out and if you want to seethem onto the plane, we can also quote that option.
Although your removal consultant will adviseyou on specific requirements, starting planning your pet's move early isrecommended while looking after your pet’s health and diet in preparation.

- Give your pet some good exercisebefore the planned move.
- Don’t feed your pet on the daythey are travelling – just make sure they have access to water and give them atreat or two.
- Also, ensure all vaccinations,flea treatments and worming are up to date.
- Become familiar with the travelbox.
- Have your pet get comfortable withtheir travel box by placing them inside it before the move, and puttingfamiliar toys or blankets in the box with them.
- Stay calm. Unless your vetrecommends it, don’t sedate your pet, as this can cause greater anxiety in someanimals. Instead, stay calm, and try to convey that calmness to your pet whilepreparing them for travel.
- Find the right travel box.Accurately measure your pet to ensure they are allocated a travel box that isbig enough for them to stand up in, turn around and lie down.
